Our classes are self-contained—feel free to drop in for just one, or an entire series. They include guided mediations and Buddhist teachings on how to cultivate inner peace, happiness and practical wisdom..
Our Mind and Our Emotions
11am - 12:15pm
What’s on your mind? Are there recurring negative thoughts and habits that lead to unbalanced emotions? Are you engaging in unproductive thinking or overthinking? Simply noticing what your mind is doing can help you start to take control.
Buddhist psychology teaches how to identify the habitual emotional habits that lead to unhappy states of mind. Eventually you learn how to react with healthier states of mind that lead to peace and happiness.
These classes are suitable for everyone and are taught by Noreen Flack, Resident Teacher at KMC Austin.
March 2 & 16 in person classes will be at SoCo Studio - My Vinyasa. Turn at City Vet and Tropical Cafe.

Overthinking can be exhausting? It often involves getting caught in a loop of analyzing and reanalyzing every detail, decision, or situation, which makes it hard to actually be productive. It’s like our mind is stuck in “what if” mode, and it can lead to stress, anxiety, or indecisiveness.
Learning how to develop mindfulness and being in the present moment helps us become more aware of our thoughts, allowing us to create space between the situation and our reaction.
Join us on Wednesdays in March for Buddhist advice for healing our mind from distractions and overthinking. Noreen Flack, Resident Teacher at KMC Austin will share timeless techniques for developing mindfulness and peace.
Classes will be at South Congress Studio - My Vinyasa. Turn into the City Vet and Tropical Cafe parking lot.

She spent much of her practice and training at Kadampa Meditation Center Washington in Seattle and has taught both beginner and advanced meditators alike how to take Buddha’s teachings to heart.
