We often look to other people to give us the happiness and security we long for. According to Buddha, this misunderstanding lies at the heart of much of our emotional pain. When we place the burden of our happiness on others, our relationships become strained and dissatisfaction grows.
In this morning class, Noreen Flack, Resident Teacher at KMC Austin, will share Buddhist understanding of attachment—why it arises, how it affects our mind, and how it quietly undermines our peace. Through meditation and practical reflection, you’ll learn how to cultivate genuine love and inner contentment, allowing relationships to become sources of connection and growth rather than stress and disappointment.
Everyone is welcome. No prior meditation experience is needed. $12 pp/$6 students & seniors.
