Offering to the Spiritual Guide (OSG) is a special Guru yoga of Je Tsongkhapa in conjunction with Highest Yoga Tantra. The main practice is relying upon the Spiritual Guide, but it also includes all the essential practices of the stages of the path (Lamrim) and training the mind (Lojong), as well as both the generation and completion stages of Highest Yoga Tantra. This practice includes a tsog offering.

In this busy world, our experiences of happiness are fleeting and short-lived, while inner peace eludes us completely. Our negative states of mind, such as uncontrolled anger and frustration create endless problems for ourselves and others, and prevent us from fulfilling our deepest wishes. Buddha gave extensive teachings on the mind of anger and how to overcome it. Join us for this Saturday workshop with Noreen Flack, Resident Teacher, as she shares Buddhist wisdom for overcoming this painful mind.

Wishfulfilling Jewel with Tsog
Wishfulfilling Jewel puja is our weekly offering to the Buddhas. We make prayers and requests to the wisdom Buddha Je Tsongkhapa along with a tsog offering (food) to the protector Buddha Dorje Shugden. If you wish, you can bring a vegetarian food offering.

The Stages of the Path to Enlightenment meditations (or Lamrim in Tibetan) are a condensation of all Buddha's teachings that is easy to understand and put into practice, enabling us to gain deep meditative insights of every step of our journey to the supreme permanent peace of mind that is enlightenment. Through employing the very special practical presentation of these meditations by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in his book The Mirror of Dharma with Additions, we will definitely accomplish the real meaning of our precious human life.
