Medicine Buddha is an enlightened Buddha doctor that functions to protect living beings by purifying negative karma and healing disease.
His healing is not limited to the physical body but gets to the root cause of sickness which in Buddhism is tied to our delusions like attachment, anger and ignorance.
By relying upon Medicine Buddha we can strengthen the body-mind connection and promote inner healing.

This day retreat led by Noreen Flack, Resident Teacher at KMC Austin, includes teachings and guided meditations as well as traditional Medicine Buddha prayers. $20 for the day retreat. Free for members.

In just one weekend, we can make significant strides in cultivating a deep experience of inner peace. This weekend retreat in the countryside offers a perfect opportunity to calm the mind, reflect on what matters the most, and experience meaningful personal transformation.

Life can sometimes feel chaotic and overwhelming with the endless flow of responsibilities, uncertainties, information, and conflict in our world. How can we transform what’s appearing in our life and keep a positive outlook? Buddha's "Lojong" teachings offer many ways of thinking and special meditations that empower us to transform difficulties into the spiritual path. We can come to see spiritual lessons in everyday life so that all our experiences become deeply meaningful and our mind more peaceful.

Please join us as the three Texas Kadampa centers come together to explore Buddha’s timeless wisdom for transforming modern life. Everyone is welcome!
