Refuge from the Storm
Live steam only!
Saturday, March 29
3 sessions 10:30am | 12:15pm | 2:30pm

When we are really suffering, we are desperate to find protection.  Buddha taught that all suffering comes from our own delusions or negative states of mind.  We need something that will effectively protect us from these delusions.

The Dharma Protector
Teaching & Heart Jewel Prayers
Thursday, April 3
7pm - 8:15pm

Relying upon the Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden is an essential practice in Kadampa Buddhism.  By engaging in Heart Jewel prayers and making a special connection with this enlightened Deity we can overcome obstacles to our spiritual practice and create favorable conditions for a happy and meaningful life.

Join us by live-stream as Noreen Flack, Resident Teacher at KMC Austin introduces the Dharma Protector and the Heart Jewel Prayers.

Bastrop Library Talk
Our Mind and Our Emotions
Saturday, April 5
11am - 12:15pm

Buddhist psychology teaches how to identify the habitual emotional habits that lead to unhappy states of mind.  Simply noticing what your mind is doing can help you start to take control.  Eventually we can learn how to react with healthier states of mind that lead to peace and happiness.

This morning class in Bastrop is suitable for everyone and is taught by Angelina Fadool from Kadampa Meditation Center Austin.  Free Class.

Everyone welcome!
